::E-Session:: Ray+Anya:

I love this couple. They have hired me several times now, so much that I feel like I am part of the family. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in March. We met up in Big Bear for their E-session and had a great time. I love that Anya always has cite little outfit changes, she is so creative. All of the outfits and props are her ideas and this is one reason I love to shoot them.

My husband has know this family for several years because they went to the same church and I am pretty sure Wes was in their Sunday school class or camp class, something like that. Katelyn contacted me because she wanted to get family pictures done as a gift to her mom. I thought it was a wonderful idea and we had a great session. This is one funny family, I laughed so much, at times it was hard to pay attention and shoot. Thank you Chalker family, you are good people.

Okay bare with me my peeps. I am about 13 blogs behind. WOW huh. Can you same lame? hehe I have been so busy shooting and editing that my blogging skills, not that I have any to begin with, have gone down the drain. And, to top it off I don’t have all my images on this computer, some I still haven’t gotten off the laptop so I will do what I can,

My family and I took a weekend in Big Bear a while back for Oktoberfest. So I figured I would book some sessions in a beautiful area. I worked with Ana at the hospital and think she is just so sweet. Her children were hilarious and her son Alex hated my guts by the end of the session. I though he was going to throw rocks at me if I kept taking his picture. But in the end we conquered and got some great shots…. after the kids stopped fighting over the dog.. It was a fun time!

It is what it is…

People often ask how many photos they are going to get from their session and when I tell them the amount they are shocked and then extremely happy. I am one of the few photographers in my area that gives away the copyright to all the pictures they get on a disc. But, I am, I think the only photographer that gives an average of 100 edited pictures… Sounds crazy huh? Well at times I think it is crazy too and I am the crazy person working my butt off to make it happen. There is a reason behind all this craziness. Well, actually there are a couple different reasons. My number one reason for giving so many photos is this: Why am I going to take @300 pictures of YOUR family and then only give you 15-35? I don’t take your pictures to have for myself. I take your pictures for YOU! So I want to give you as many as possible. I feel I have been blessed with this talent, which has gotten me further than I ever imaged. I feel I am supposed to take this gift and give back. Eventually I am going to have to raise my prices again, but I do hope to always stay in a price range that many will be able to afford. When you have two children and a working husband it is nice to contribute. Which leads me into the second reason I give back so much. I have been working since I was 14 years old. I need to work, I know nothing else. As much as I get stressed out and sometimes want to scream, I love being busy. Yes, there are days I would just love to sit on the couch, and I have had those days, but I want to be busy and feel I am helping somewhere. It would kill me if I couldn’t help out my family. This is why I need to keep my prices at a range I can contribute, and also feel that I am getting paid for what I am worth. I hope that this answers some questions that are out there. If you have more, please feel free to ask. I am going to make this blog more personal along with all of my work. I want you to get to know me…. for me, the girl behind the camera.
My ways aren’t for everyone, and that’s fine, but they work for me and that’s all that matters… It is what it is.

Busy and Loving It

I have been so busy this last month and especially this last week, but I am loving it. I am so blessed to be given this opportunity words can not express my gratitude to the man up above!

I will for sure blog about each family and the fun experiences I have been having with all of them but for now I will just post a few of my favorites. I am really trying to make a better effort to blog and for YOU my Fans to get the word out about me and pass this along to your friends.

MUST bring a $5.00 new, unwrapped toy and/or canned food items.

This is a first come, first serve event.

Hannah Sons Photography will also be raffling off ONE free photography session, a $150.00 value.

To enter into photography raffle, must bring 5 canned food items or a $10.00 new, unwrapped toy.

We will be donating all items raised to the local community for people in need this year.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about the tattoo and it’s not about winning a free photography session, this is about giving back. Something we all need to do a little more of.

::A Beach Wedding:: The Greens':

I am so glad that Erin found me. She had her original photographer back out on her at the last minute and so a friend of hers referred her to me.  She was such an easy, laid back bride. She didn’t have a worry in the world. She did tell me that her husband to be hated the camera so I was nervous, but he was so easy.

 

::Senior Session:: Brandi

I had so much fun taking Brandi’s pictures. Brandi is my nephews girlfriend so my niece came along and I dragged them all over Redlands until the sun went down that night. The camera loves this girl. I don’t think she can take a bad picture even if she tried.
