:: The Marks Family::

This is my cousin John’s beautiful family. I haven’t seen them since my wedding and Amy was pregnant with Emily. They are the cutest kids. Emily is John’s little mini me, anything he does she does. Landon is just this happy go lucky dude with a beautiful face. Brian is amazing with these kids. Amy is so lucky to have an order one around to help out. John is stubborn so at first he wasn't going to change his shirt to match the rest of his family until I said oh no no.. you WILL change your shirt. And on top of that is was coming down with the flu, something I am thankful I did not get. ( so far.. knock of wood). I really hope it is not another three years before I see them again. I enjoyed being around them.

                   

:: Medlin Family ::

I haven’t seen Noah since he was a couple months old and I took their pictures last year. He is now walking and talking. He is such a well behaved nice boy. Nothing like my son, so I didn’t know what to do with a nice boy that listens to his mother.  It is very obvious that there is nothing but love for this little boy when his parents are around.

This family is so nice. Amber and Chris are so in love with their daughter “L”. She wasn’t too sure about me or standing for pictures so we did a lot of candid pictures. Mom and Dad would interact with her and I would snap away. Towards the very end she started to loosen up a little, so maybe next time she will feel a little more comfortable with me.

I haven’t seen Lindsey in about 10 years. When I lived in Temecula, I got a job at a restaurant called Penfold’s Café. The owner just so happens to be her father. I loved working there. I can probably say it was one of my favorite jobs. Lindsey found me on Facebook and wanted me to take pictures for their one year anniversary. They just bought their first home so now they will have new pictures so put on their walls.

I have known Sarah since jr. High although we never hung out we just knew each other. I was excited when she contacted them to take their pictures. It was nice nice to catch up. Her son cracked me up the whole time. The dog was even good for the pictures. I love shooting in overcast weather. This day was overcast and had the perfect lighting.

         

::The Bertino Family::

These are a lively bunch of people. The men folk asked several times if we were done yet. All they wanted to do on that lovely Sunday morning was watch football. No particular game, just any football. I laughed so much with this fun group I am sure I missed some shots. Somehow I even became a victim of the leaf fight. I would love to just be in the room with this whole family together, there would never be a dull moment. Little miss D is one of those kids that when they are having a good day she will give you her all, but if you catch her on a bad day you will get nothing. Luckily for me, she was perfect that day and took some great pictures.

I took this duo  pictures in the summer at the beach. Little miss T is one of those kids that takes a minute to warm up to you and then she is a photographers best friend. She has this cute little head tilt and smile. Mom is trying to break her of the head tilt though. Kristen wanted snow on the ground when we first talked, I wasn't sure she would get it with that hot weather we were having, but she got her wish. It was cold, and wet, a little slippery too. It was my first time shooting in forest falls, I hadn’t been up there since the time I ditched school and drove there with my four best friends. (snow ditch day , sorry dad ) It was so nice up there, I think I will be taking my family soon, or maybe in the summer when there is no snow.

:: M & H families ::

This session marks the third time I have taken Allison and Ryan’s pictures. I first took their maternity pictures, then I took pictures shortly after the baby was born, which was when I met their nieces and Allison’s sister in-law Laci.  I love these little girls. They just brighten my day with their smiles and their carefree personalities. Kenzi was the smallest baby I had ever seen. She is about a month older than my Bailey and I think half the weight. I truly look forward to taking this families pictures again. I love meeting clients I feel could be my friends.

:: Martinez Family ::

Let’s be honest, every kid I come across is not perfect. Some I have to try and try and then try some more just to get them to smile or interact with me. This little girl was awesome though, anytime I said “ok, ready?” she instantly had a smile on her face and was perfect the whole time. I tend to snap more pictures when there are kids involved because there is always that one time where you think they are looking at you and smiling, then when you go to edit and zoom in on their eyes you notice they were looking at the bird that flew by or something random. Not with this little one though. She was so good it threw me off. This family found me through a wedding I did for a friend of their and I hope to see them again.
