::Shannon + Chris :: E-Session

Shannon is one of my dear friend’s daughter. I have know her mom for the last sever years so for the last sever years I have seen/heard about Shannon growing into this beautiful young woman who will be graduating from UCLA where she also met her wonderful fiancé Chris.  They met her freshman year through a church gathering and basically hit it off from there. I had never been to the UCLA campus and to be honest I never had the desire to go because I am USC fan, for life! But let me tell you how beautiful this campus is. I fell in love walking around. Shannon and Chris took me to all the places that had meaning to them on campus and also all of the best spots for pictures. One of the places we went into was the library which is gorgeous, but if you know me, you know that it was a hard task for me to be quiet in that place. :) I could go on and on about these two. Every time they look at each other their faces light up, and when they look into each others eyes they can’t help but smile. I felt honored to be in the presence to be able to capture the love between the two of them. I wish them nothing but happiness in their long life together. 

Oh, and we also went to Café 50’s which is down there near the campus and I totally recommend it if you are in the area. They have 48 different milk shakes on their menu and the diner is decorated so neat!

         

:: The Fry Family::

Jenny was another winner from cyber Monday and I really enjoyed meeting them. Come to find out three out of the four people that won were friends, so it was really neat to meet all them. Jenny has a daughter who I think might have more energy than my Logan. Ok, maybe not more, but I am sure they could keep up with each other. She had the funniest things to say. I couldn’t keep her attention for long so I had to work fast. They also have a cute little boy who just goes with the flow. Although he is too young to crawl or do much right now I am sure Jenny and David are going to have their hands full with these two. Thank you again for having me take your pictures.

          

::The Knight Family::

Toni was one of my winners from cyber Monday back in November. I have worked with this family before, and when they are all together it is pretty fun to watch them interact and hear the jokes that Zack comes up with. Keith and Toni have been together for thirty years so they wanted to incorporate something fun into the pictures to represent that. I have now taken pictures of Sarah, Daniel and the boys since 2007 so I always love seeing them and seeing how much the boys have grown.

Congrats on Thirty years Keith and Toni. I truly hope I am there one day with Wes.

:: Sisterly Love:: {A & H}

These two girls are so cute. I loved meeting them along with their mom and grandma. H was so great with her little sister. Such a sweet, pretty, polite, very helpful little girl. And I cannot say enough about little A. What a happy little baby who is beautiful. As our session went on and we we talked more I loved this family more when each moment. They are so caring and love God. They would do anything for anyone, including strangers which is why I think I liked them so much. If we had more people in the world like this family, the world would be a better place.

     

:: E-Session:: Eric & Jessica:: { Redlands Engagement Photographer}

I was so happy when Jessica contacted me to take her engagement pictures. From her e-mails she seemed like a pretty cool girl and I would have to say my instincts were right! I knew I loved this couple when I had asked why they were in Vegas the day before and they answered it was to see Social Distortion; One of my all time favorite bands, who are also amazing to see live!

Believe it or not, these two were set up by their parents. Jessica had been dating someone when her mom told her she had to meet her friends son. Jessica said as soon as she saw Eric she just had to meet him. They met and pretty much have been together ever since.

They are so cute together. I don’t think they stopped smiling the whole time we were together. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in May. Not only is it going to be beautiful, I have a feeling it was be a great time!

    

::Maternity Session:: Ashley::

I love this girl. I have known her husband most of my life and I have known her for at least 15 years. I think she is just the cutest thing we she is preggo. This little girl is going to be their second child and if she looks anything like her brother she is going to be gorgeous.  I knew J wouldn’t want to take pictures, let’s face it, what guy does? So I brought my husband along to keep him entertained while Ashley and I took her solo pictures. So the guys could talk about motorcycles and work while we got down to business. It worked perfectly.

I cannot wait to meet miss Kennedi Jo.

                   

:: Baby Brockton :: One Month

I was so excited to meet this little boy last week. I have been friends with his mom for several years,  since around third grade, I think. We have been through a lot together throughout our friendship so I was so happy for her when she announced she was expecting last year. I think what made her news super exciting was that she found a wonderful man to call her husband and to have this wonderful little boy with. I can’t help but feel such joy for my friends when they enter parenthood. There is something so special about bringing a child into this world. I think I feel hope when a new baby is born. Hope that our next generation will only be better than we are. Then I feel excitement. I am so excited to see how OUR children will grow up and what kind of ruckus they will cause like we did, only we pretty much did it all so I don’t think they will be getting away with much.

Congrats Linds. I am so excited for you and your future with your family. You truly look happy and that makes me happy. ; )
